A Sad Day
Hello – Taking a break from political writing today as our family has experienced the loss of our dear beloved Collie-Dog. She was a good and loyal friend for many years, but the rapidly increasing canine dementia was beginning to make her a danger to herself. Watching her pace in a confused daze was agonizing for me, as I’m sure it was for her. Today we said goodbye to our dear friend and we are grateful for the amazing, compassionate vet who provided as much care to me as she did for our Collie-Dog. Truly an amazing veterinarian with a gentle heart and spirit.
Today we are sad.

I am so sorry for your loss. Collies are amazing, I have three. I love them all.
Mike and Cynthia … thanks for you kindness. We still have our Basset Hound, but there is a big emptiness without our precious Collie here.
