Recently, I met (virtually) some new friends down in Kentucky at Basset Hound Town. Cat (the human resident) is a wonderful advocate for basset hounds. Today, she posted a story about a hound down in Texas, his name is Gabe and if it weren’t for the quick action and dogged determination of a hound lover there in the Lone Star State, Gabe could now be stuck in a puppy mill.
Gabe needs a home. He is probably between one and two years old, so there will be lots of years of basset companionship in this guy. Please click his picture to read his rescue story and find out more information. He is in the San Antonio area.

OM – Thanks so much for this bassetabulous feature! Gabe gets along great with other dogs and goats! Yes, I said goats. I am going to post a picture of him making friends with the family’s billy goat later today on my blog. It is toooooo cute.
