This search for housing in the Upper Peninsula is not going very well. We need a place to live in order to start my new job. This tent is not very appealing in an area that receives many feet of snow each winter. The few rentals I’ve found so far either are already rented by the time I call, or I leave countless voicemails with no response, while other contacts that seem promising just vanish. An eight hour one-way commute is hardly an option.
