Urgent Prayer – Update

Last week I told you about our friend who just discovered he has a brain tumor. A different neurological team has since examined him and they will be performing surgery this morning. They will biopsy the tumor and attempt to remove as much as possible. There are many risks associated with this surgery, including loss of speech (both the ability to speak and the ability to understand speech), ability to physically care for himself, and death.

Please pray that the surgery would go well: no lasting disability, that they would be able to remove all of the tumor and that it would not be malignant.

Psalm 41:1-3

How blessed is he who considers the helpless; The LORD will deliver him in a day of trouble. The LORD will protect him and keep him alive, And he shall be called blessed upon the earth; And do not give him over to the desire of his enemies. The LORD will sustain him upon his sickbed; In his illness, You restore him to health.
