- On this Christmas day, I am delighted to report to you that this week all our ducks finally lined up the way we needed them to …
… and on Wednesday, December 23rd we closed on our new home!
- As I have only been on my new job for a few months, and considering that the last couple years have been difficult financially for our family, it was truly the hand of God that brought everything together (including a great house at a great price) at just the right time and place. We are humbled and grateful at His provision.
- We also started moving on Wednesday! We are “in” now, but still much work to do to be finally settled.
- Thank you for all of your prayers and support over these months when every Friday I could only report to you that we needed more ducks to get in line so that we could finally feel more settled as a family. I believe there were a couple of you that guessed what we were up to, but I didn’t want to get into specifics until I knew for certain. As it was, we found out on Monday that everything was approved and that we would close on Wednesday!
- There are many more pieces to this story that I’ll share with you in the weeks ahead … for now, I hope you will rejoice with us for God’s overwhelming blessings.

Same job Larry – but we are living in a different town. I actually cover two communities, and the one we just moved to is a better choice for our family.

Good morning Susan – thanks for rejoicing with us. The pups are quite comfy and happy. I can hear Nell snoring right now! We’ve had to put up a kennel temporarily for them to go outside, because this is not the time of year to try to install a fence in the UP of Michigan!
Larry Jackson already asked and you answered my question about the location of your new home and the relationship to your job. We had our second major snow storm/blizzzard in Western and SW Iowa commencing Christmas Eve. Sun finally out today.

Hi Cat – We are very excited as well. We had to make another trip to the old place Saturday and Hannah said “no, I want to live at the new house”. I assured her the trip was temporary! She likes the new place a lot.
