- 2009 has been quite a year for our family. One year ago, I certainly never expected that this New Year’s Eve we would be living in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula in our own new home.
- God has truly blessed our family in these difficult times for so many people in the United States.
- I am also blessed to have each of you who I consider part of the OneMom family. You have made me laugh, cry, and encouraged me in so many ways – I am humbled and so grateful.
- There is no way I’ll make it to midnight, so …. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Kerry. I am glad that your ducks all lined up and you have a house of your own. I take it that you didn’t have to break your lease on the first house that you lived in. I hope you have a great year!
Hi Frances, and thanks! We didn’t have a lease because the landlord was in the process of selling it (we didn’t want it for many reasons), so it was just month to month until we were able to get everything settled.
