- Friday – finally.
- This week has been intense at work. I am still covering two communities, so I am trying to do two full-time jobs in 40 hours a week. While I do not mind hard work, I have been gone too much and missing time with my family.
- I have heard little news this week, but enough to know that the people of Haiti are facing tragedy on a level that most of us will never know. If you want to donate money to help, please do so through Samaritan’s Purse.
- We are enjoying a brief respite from the harshness of winter that has been non-stop since Thanksgiving, and we are thankful.
- We are also enjoying our new home. I am hoping this weekend to be able to start writing about the journey God brought us through to get to this wonderful home.
- As we have been unpacking, I have found items that I had not seen in quite some time. One of my most favorites? My Mom’s old dishes:

- Nell came up very short in the voting this week. I missed the deadline to get her into the week two competition. I’ll get her back into week three which will start next Friday, January 22nd.
Time for work, I’ll write more later …

Oh, Blue Willow, my favorite. I hope you have space now to put them out, or at least a few on the wall.
Actually Cathy there is a pretty cabinet in the kitchen with glass windows so that is where I have put them. They are pretty and it is nice to have them out again.
What a wonderful thing to have and hold. Your Mom’s dishes. I cannot wait to see the cabinet. We will look forward to Nell’s next attempt. We love our Kerry….
