Friday Flyer

- So glad it’s Friday.
- When I arrived home yesterday, Hannah informed me that she had flowers for me – a beautiful little arrangement from our yard. As this is our first spring at our new home, we are enjoying our “flower surprise” as more varieties pop up.

- We will be traveling on a plane soon – one of my greatest fears, which I am trying to keep completely to myself, because Hannah is so excited and I want her to be able to find a joy in traveling that I have never been able to experience.
- Our journey is for work (for me), but a wonderful homeschool fieldtrip opportunity for my family.
- So glad it’s Friday (I guess I said that already!).

Ooo, I love to travel. I hope you have a good experience so that maybe one day you can enjoy it too.
Hi Frances – I am always amazed when people tell me they love to travel. So far I have managed to not pass on my fear of thunderstorms or of crowds to Hannah, so I am hopeful that she will learn the joy of travel.
I love the flowers. There is something incredible wonderful about awaking to the discovery of a new bloom, a new color and a new scent!
Hannah has such a beautiful spirit. She adds incredible beauty to your day, much like those flowers!
Those flowers made my day! Please tell our Hannah for me, OK? I remember being Hannah’s age and flying. It is the best memory ever! You are the best for making her feel that way!
Love you

I hope you have a wonderful trip!
I have to say it – I love to travel! And I always have. Maybe growing up in Alaska is why — you have to fly from a very young age. That’s one of the reasons I love living over here in Europe; the opportunity to travel a lot, either by air, or especially by train. Speaking of air travel, here’s hoping and praying that I get to fly out on April 28th, and arrive in Chicago on schedule
