A Growing Sadness

On November 24, 2009, a pastor and friend of mine (he and his wife walked me down the aisle at our wedding), was diagnosed with brain cancer. He is now in hospice care and is not expected to live but a few more days. While we rejoice that he will be in the presence of Jesus, we are very sad that he will no longer be with us. I ask you to pray for Oliver and his dear wife Jo.

I am sad.

I’m so sorry to read this. I’m sad for you – and his family. Yes we have assurance of heaven and joy everlasting — but in the meantime, it’s just so sad.

    Praying for you all -
