Michigan Voters – find your primary ballot

Michigan voters are heading to the polls on Tuesday August 7, 2012. Unfortunately many voters don’t see all the candidates or issues on the ballot until they step into the voting booth leading people to make selections based on name recognition and hearsay. Thanks to the folks at Wayne State University, there is an online service call Publius in which anyone registered to vote in the State of Michigan can access a full copy of their local ballot.

One feature I especially liked about the ballot site was that the names of candidates running for US and State offices were clickable in order to access their websites and learn more about them.

If you’re going to vote on Tuesday in Michigan, please be an informed voter.
