Michigan Goes Red

For a change, the State of Michigan has elected Republican Rick Snyder as Governor, and replaced Democrat Bart Stupak with Republican Dr. Dan Benishek in the US House of Representatives. Unfortunately voters in Michigan’s 15th Congressional District chose to send John Dingell back to Congress. North American Extratropical Cyclone – 2010

Thanks to the North American Extratropical Cyclone of October 26-27, 2010, it has been a wild couple of days. Island Time

Over the Labor Day weekend, the OneMom family headed for an island in Lake Michigan where my husband was scheduled to run in the Beaver Island Marathon.
