Michigan Goes Red

For a change, the State of Michigan has elected Republican Rick Snyder as Governor, and replaced Democrat Bart Stupak with Republican Dr. Dan Benishek in the US House of Representatives. Island Time

Over the Labor Day weekend, the OneMom family headed for an island in Lake Michigan where my husband was scheduled to run in the Beaver Island Marathon.
