It is April 5, 2013. Our forecast for tonight and tomorrow is for 6 inches of heavy wet snow (the kind of snow that is like driving in Crisco). This is just wrong on so many levels. Since the first day of Spring, my daughter looks outside everyday and says “go away snow”. I have to concur. Looks like no walks with doggies this weekend. This is our fourth winter in the UP of Michigan, but the first real UP winter that we’ve experienced. I must admit that I am tired of snow. In my previous post “Driving Quietly”, Cindy commented that it looked like a nice day for my husband to repair my car. For the UP of Michigan in March it was incredibly nice – 48 degrees! As we are about a block from the Lake Michigan shore, we were running almost 30 degrees cooler than those along Lake Superior (just 45 miles north).
