Over the weekend, Nancy Pelosi and others in Washington, DC seemed confident that all was well in their plan to borrow $700 billion from Americans for generations to come, but today they were shocked when more than 200 Republicans and Democrats decided to vote based on what their constituents said and not what Pelosi and President Bush said.
